Mr. Hatano Wataru is a Japanese paper craftsman who is widely active in Japan and abroad.
His repertoire ranges from everyday objects that you want to keep close at hand, such as boxes and paving boards, to paintings and calligraphy.
We are also attracted to his furniture and interior design work, which makes use of the texture of washi to create spaces.

1971. 淡路島に生まれる / 1995. 多摩美術大学絵画科油画専攻卒
1997. 黒谷和紙研修生となる / 1998. ベトナムに紙漉き職人として派遣
1998. 黒谷和紙協同組合青年会を立ち上げる / ベトナムに紙漉き職人として派遣
以後、 日本各地で展示を開催。近年は海外の企画展にも参加。
