【濃藍と白】-こあゐとしろ- 開催中です

眩しい日差しと藍と白のコントラストが夏の訪れを感じさせます。

天然染料に拘ったニワカヤマさんの藍染と手紡ぎの糸ならではの風合いがふっくら心地よい菅野さんの手織り布。
見慣れた景色を何ともチャーミングに描く熊本さんの器やオブジェ。
藍の布を海に見立て、悠々と風を受けるヨットにも3人の遊び心が垣間見えます。

熊本さん、菅野さんの作品はonline shopでもご紹介させていただきます。

The dazzling sunlight and the contrast between indigo and white signal the arrival of summer.

Niwakayama’s indigo-dyed fabrics, made with a commitment to natural dyes, and Kanno’s handwoven textiles,
with their uniquely soft and plush texture thanks to hand-spun yarn.
Kumamoto’s pottery and sculptures, which depict familiar scenes in a truly charming way.
The three artists’ playful spirit is also evident in the indigo fabric, which they’ve likened to the sea, and the yacht gliding leisurely in the breeze.

We will also be featuring works by Ms. Kumamoto and Ms. Sugano in our online shop.
We will announce details as soon as everything is ready, so please bear with us for a little while longer.
