沖縄県南城市にて、主にガジュマルやアカギ、ホルトノキなど沖縄の木材を使った器を制作されています。きれいな形の器だけでなく、少しゆがんだり、欠けたり、割れたりした要素もデザインの一部としてとらえ個性的な器作りを目指されています。
水分を含んだ生木を使用しているため、完成までの変形の具合は予測しながらも最終的には木に委ねる。
木の特性を熟知し木との対話を楽しむ、藤本さんならではの生き生きと生命力あふれる作品です。
錆漆の8寸皿はまるで陶器の様な風合いで、モーニングプレート、メイン皿、パスタ皿など幅広くお使いいただけます。
すっきりとしたモダンなフォルムはお料理が映えると料理人にも人気の逸品です。

2002年、沖縄に移住して家具などのオーダー制作を始める。
その後器を作り始め、個展などの活動を中心に行う。
2012年、アトリエ脇に「gallery k.」をオープン。
