Layers of color and light unfold through the traditional murrine glass technique.
Misa Mizuno’s glassworks are created by carefully combining countless small pieces, layering their expressions as if painting a picture.
Rhythmically arranged mosaic glass, together with the graceful curves and gentle undulations made possible by free-blown glass, creates a quiet yet captivating sense of depth.
From tea utensils that bring a special touch to tea time, to vessels designed for everyday use, as well as flower vases and objects that bring the changing seasons into a space, each piece is both a functional object and a work of art that draws the eye simply by being there.
