室礼がグッと引き締まる薬罐は、鉄の風合い豊かな表情が味わい深く、表面に漆を焼き付け内部は琺瑯引きで錆止め加工がされています。

錆や蜜蝋を纏い静謐なる侘びの美を湛える大山求さんの鉄。無骨でありながらも時と共に変容するその表情は、沈黙のうちに語りかけるような金属の深い呼吸を感じさせます。

フリーランスのイラスレーター、美術制作を経て、
2007年 山口県にて、鉄に従事するアトリエを構える。

A teapot with a commanding presence and the dignified beauty of iron.
Its solid form enhances any room’s aesthetic, while the rich texture of iron offers a deeply expressive character. The surface is coated with lacquer that has been baked on, and the interior is enamel-coated to prevent rust.
Please avoid heating it while empty.
The ironwork of Motomu Oyama, imbued with rust and beeswax, exudes a serene, wabi-sabi beauty. Though rugged in appearance, its expression changes over time, evoking the quiet, deep breath of metal as if it were silently speaking.
