白磁に細い溝を彫り、そこに呉須を入れる象嵌の技法を取り入れています。
日常の何気ない風景を魅力的に切り取り器に表現するユニークな視点。
ゆらぎながら丁寧に重ねられた緻密な線と余白の絶妙なバランス感覚は遊び心にも溢れています。

Mitsuko Kumamoto creates her work in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture.
She employs the inlay technique, carving fine grooves into white porcelain and filling them with cobalt blue.
She brings a unique perspective to her work, capturing the charm of everyday, ordinary scenes and expressing them on her tableware.
The exquisite sense of balance between the meticulous lines and the margins that are carefully superimposed is also full of playfulness.
