1998　石川県立九谷焼技術研修所修了
2001　金沢卯辰山工芸工房修了

The world of Kyoko Tanabe is filled with humor, edge, and boundless originality.
Perhaps it is her free-spirited sensibility—which defies convention—and her unpredictable, eccentric energy that draw us in, piece by piece. While her work seems to effortlessly transcend the boundaries of Kutani ware, at its core lies a solid mastery of materials and techniques, rooted in ancient Kutani and Ming and Qing dynasty ceramics, with absolutely no compromise.
