幼い頃に触れた物語や絵本の記憶、そんな心の奥に残る風景をガラスの中に丁寧に閉じ込め表現される土井朋子さん。
まるでお話の中の登場人物や小道具が、そのまま現実の世界に現れたかのような不思議であたたかな空気をまとっています。その愛らしい表情の奥には、想像以上に繊細で根気を要する制作の積み重ねがあります。
ひとつひとつの工程と真摯に向き合い、その時間さえ慈しむように制作されているからこそ、土井さんの作品には、触れる人の気持ちをそっと緩めるようなぬくもりが息づいているように感じられます。

Tomoko Doi delicately captures and preserves within glass the landscapes that linger deep in our hearts—memories of stories and picture books we encountered in childhood.
Her works seem as though the characters and small props from a tale have quietly stepped out into the real world, wrapped in a mysterious yet gentle warmth.
Behind their charming expressions lies an accumulation of far more delicate and painstaking work than one might imagine. Because she approaches each process with sincerity and even cherishes the time devoted to it, her creations are imbued with a warmth that softly loosens the hearts of those who encounter them.

1996　武蔵野美術大学短期大学部デザイン科　工芸デザイン専攻陶磁コース 卒業
1999　東京ガラス工芸研究所 基礎科 卒業
