Yoko Takao creates works that resemble abstract paintings by using various types of decorative clay and applying glazes in a partial manner. Her pieces possess a texture that conveys the breath of the earth, a sense of color, and the power to transform the landscape of space. She has expanded his range of activities to include vessels, objects, and beeswax paintings.
