原木を選び、木地を挽き、漆塗りの全工程をお一人でされる城﨑さん。
蒔地の技法による漆器は、塗膜が硬く耐久性があり日常使いが出来る頼もしさがあります。
漆や顔料を調合し、丁寧に幾重にも塗りを重ねられた絵画の様な色彩の美しさ。
スッキリとモダンな印象に加え、温かみのあるフォルムは、使い手に寄り添った心地の良い器です。

▪️城﨑月甫 (Kizaki Tsukiho) Profile

 1984年石川県金沢生まれ。 
2005年ミャンマー連邦ヤンゴン外国語大学ミャンマー語学科卒業。 在学中、ミャンマーの漆器に出会う。 帰国後、本格的に漆器を学ぶため石川県挽物轆轤技術研修所に入所。
 2010年同所を卒業、金沢市郊外に工房を構える。 
2014年、工房を滋賀県長浜市に移し制作を行う。
2021年より埼玉県加須市にて制作を行う。
