竹そのものの美しさに惹かれ“編まない竹細工”に取り組む中村圭さん。
素材本来の魅力を引き出す作風は手仕事の美しさと力強さが共存します。
洗練されたモダンな佇まいと時を重ねて味わいを増す作品は、現代の生活スタイルにもしっくりと馴染みます。

The basket is small enough to hold just one apple. The handles are individually beaten, so they have different expressions. It can be used as an objet d'art or as a vase with a brass drop.

Kei Nakamura is fascinated by the beauty of bamboo itself and engages in “non-woven bamboo craftsmanship.
His style, which draws out the original charm of the material, combines the beauty of handwork and strength.
The refined and modern appearance of his works, which gain in flavor over time, fit in nicely with modern lifestyles.
